Welcome to Carnagill Primary School, a caring, inclusive and ambitious school at the heart of the Catterick Garrison community.

We are proud to serve a diverse school family, including many children from military families. We recognise the unique experiences this can bring and are committed to offering stability, understanding and high-quality education so that every child can thrive, regardless of starting point.

At Carnagill, relationships come first. We are a deeply nurturing school where children feel safe, valued and understood. Our highly personalised nurture provision supports pupils’ social, emotional and mental health, helping them to develop confidence, resilience and readiness to learn. Alongside this, we are proud of our strong, high-quality SEND provision, where children’s individual needs are identified early and met through inclusive practice, skilled staff and close partnership with families and external professionals.

Our curriculum is ambitious, engaging and designed to remove barriers to learning. We hold high expectations for all children and celebrate progress in every form—academic, social and emotional. Inclusion is not an add-on at Carnagill; it is at the heart of everything we do.

Whether you are a current family, new to our community or considering Carnagill for your child, we hope our website reflects the warmth, care and aspiration you will find within our school.

We would be proud to welcome you.
